Ann
McDougall is a storyteller, actor and artist. Her work has been
featured at the Toronto Festival of Storytelling, the Red Festival, Toronto
Arts Week and on CBC Radio. She is also the co-curator of the multi-disciplinary
storytelling series SPEAK. Ann’s storytelling style is frequently
very visual. She designs puppets, masks and storybooks for Tinderbox Theatre
and has created experimental shadow puppetry for the Puppetmongers Fresh
Ideas in Puppetry Day, Bala Ave. Community School and Todmorden Mills
Museum. She is currently working on a large-scale storytelling piece called
Sugar Sand, funded by a grant from the Ontario Arts Council.
